About

Meet Chae and YJ, childhood friends

Growing up in Korea, coffee was an integral part of daily life. We were constantly searching for a simple yet tasty option for our busy or lazy days. We experimented with various brewing methods and instant recipes, but nothing quite hit the mark.

90s Korean instant coffee, reimagined and reinvented.

That's when we remembered our first coffee experience — the sweet, delicious, and energizing instant coffee packets found just about everywhere in Korea. That fond memory sparked an idea.

We wanted to bring that same versatility and convenience to everyone, but with high-quality ingredients and even better taste. That’s why we created KimlyParc, so both coffee enthusiasts and first-time drinkers can enjoy a cup of instant delight — from Seoul, with love.

Our commitment to sustainability

As we began manufacturing our product, we were concerned generating more waste and harming the environment. We believe that the product and its manufacturing process should have the least negative impact on our planet. At every step of the way, we ask ourselves how much our product will affect our land if it ends up in a landfill. We know we're not perfect, but our commitment is to make environmentally conscious choices wherever possible. Though our efforts may start small, they can make a significant impact as we move forward.

We have used FSC-certified paper and soy-based ink for our boxes, and a composite material for our packets. While we are actively searching for more sustainable and recyclable options, we have discovered that some materials may allow the ingredients to oxidize and decay, which requires testing for at least a year before considering them for commercial use. Our ultimate goal is to continue searching and experimenting until we find the best possible solution both for our packaging needs and environment.
