Recipes

Recipe 1: Matcha Latte

First on the table, we have Matcha Latte. Matcha is a finely grinded powder which is processed from green tea leaves in East Asia. Japan and Korea (Jeju) are famous for their Matcha (Green Tea) products. Matcha is very nutritious and helps to protect your liver, improve heart conditions, and even aids your weight loss! Today, we will be using our instant coffee mix for the recipe.

 Time : 5 minutes

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 oz (45ml) of KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate (Hot)
  • 1 ½ tbsp of Matcha powder
  • 4 tbsp of boiling hot water
  • ¾ cup of cold or hot milk
  • 1 handheld mixer (stand mixer, milk frother, or by hand)
  • Optional honey
  • Optional ice cubes

Step 1

Place the 1 ½ tablespoon of Matcha powder in a mug and add 4 tablespoons of water to dissolve it until no lumps remain.

Step 2

Add honey and stir it for the sweetness.

Step 3

Pour the milk in the mug and use a milk frother to whisk it.

Step 4

If it’s ready, pour KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate on top of the drink. Ta-dah! Fully served!

Or you can do the other way around just like the video clip above!

Recipe 2: Dirty Chai Latte

Our second flavor of the day is the Dirty Chai Latte! Dirty Chai Latte’s base is obviously the traditional Masala Chai (spiced Indian tea), a tea from India which is popular throughout South Asia. We will give it a fun twist today without using the ordinary espresso shot but use our very own created KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate!

 Time : 5 minutes

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 oz (45ml) of KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate (Hot)
  • 3 tbsp of Chai Latte Powder Mix
  • ½  cup of boiling hot water
  • ⅓ cup of cold or hot milk
  • 1 teaspoon of honey
  • Optional ice cubes

Step 1

Add 3 tablespoons of Chai Latte Powder to the ½ cup of boiling water and mix it until the powder dissolves completely.

Step 2

Once the Masala Chai Tea is prepared, add honey to sweeten it up.

Step 3

Pour KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate and ⅓ cup of milk into the tea. Mix it up and enjoy!

Recipe 3: Misugaru Latte

Finally, the Misugaru Latte! Before anything, what the heck is a Misugaru? Misugaru (미수가루) or Misutgaru (미숫가루) is a traditional Korean multigrain powder, which is a mix of natural grains including brown rice, barley, beans, glutinous rice, sesame seeds, perilla seeds, job’s tears, and much more. Some powders may even contain up to 20+ different types of grains.

In Korea, people usually add water or milk to Misugaru to drink for a meal replacement. Many people now-a-days drink this Korean superfood not only because it tastes great (cereal, nutty, and malty flavor) but also because it is super nutritious and easy to make.

Although it was considered to be an old-people drink in Korea, many Korean Coffee Shops and Cafés developed Misugaru Latte as one of their signature menus in recent years. Perhaps, this Misugaru Latte could blow up globally along with the rise of the Korean wave or Hallyu (한류) and become the next Dalgona Latte!

 Time : 5 minutes

Ingredients :

  • 1.5 oz (45ml) of KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate (Hot)
  • 2 scoops of Misugaru powder
  • ¼ cup of boiling hot water
  • ¾ cup of cold or hot milk
  • Optional ice cubes (for iced latte)
  • Optional Honey (for sweetness)

Step 1

Place 2 scoops of Misugaru powder in a glass and dissolve it with hot water.

Step 2

Put KimlyParc Coffee Concentrate and ¾ cup of milk in the glass and stir it well.

Step 3

Add optional honey and ice cubes according to your preference. Yum!
